How to Use
Option One (Deeper Clean): Take a pea-size amount (use the included spoon to keep moisture and impurities out of your jar!) and melt the balm between your fingers. Gently rub on your face, focusing around your eyes to remove eye makeup with ease. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the oils to break down makeup and hydrate your skin. Then, wet your hands and gently emulsify the balm on your skin before rinsing with warm water and wiping off with a damp washcloth.
Option Two (Quick Wash): Scoop a pea-size amount and emulsify with water in your hands into a milky wash, then apply to skin and rinse with warm water and a damp washcloth.
Ingredients and Functions (Listed in order of prominence in our formula)
Organic Mango Butter: Helps hydrate the skin, which helps it maintain a healthy balance. Promotes a clear, smooth complexion.
Organic Castor Oil: Naturally moisturizing and emollient, can act as a protective barrier on the skin, helping your skin protect itself from harsh environmental conditions.
Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil: High in Oleic acid and squalene (an oil that mimics skin’s natural sebum), rich in antioxidants (to fight environmental damage), vitamins A and E, and is known to be hypoallergenic.
Premium Emulsifying Wax: Allows oils and water to mix, which allows this balm to create it’s signature milky consistency when water is added. Also prevents ingredients from separating, allowing your balm to maintain its perfect blend over time.
Organic Golden Jojoba Oil: Similar to natural skin oils, very hydrating, full of vitamin E, vitamin B complex, and essential skin nutrients chromium, copper, and zinc. Can help control acne breakouts.
Organic Golden Hemp Oil: This oil is abundant in alpha-linolenic acid and has anti-inflammatory and anti-aging qualities.
Rose Wax: Known to hydrate and sooth skin, reducing the appearance of redness in the skin, it also gives a subtle rose scent to the cleanser.
Candelilla Wax: Plant based wax, helps provide ‘slip’ to products.
Virgin Neem Oil: Reputed for its cleansing properties, rich in fatty acids and glycerides, can also help the appearance of skin pigmentation.
Organic Sunflower Lecithin: This is the non-allergenic counterpart to soy lecithin, and is rich in phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl inositol, and phosphatidyl ethanolamine. Acts as an emulsifying agent in skincare.
Non-GMO Vitamin E Oil: D-alpha tocopherol acetate is the active ingredient in vitamin E oil, which adds a protective quality to the skin, and also acts as a natural preservative to the cleanser.
Rosemary Extract: Acts as an antioxidant/natural preservative.
